Karrah Herring, J.D.

Karrah Herring founded Lucy Mina Consulting in November of 2016. The firm originally focused on workplace culture enhancement and in 2018 transitioned to artist management and public and media relations.

Ms. Herring’s professional career post law school, began in 2011 at the University of Notre Dame. She worked in the Office of Institutional Equity (OIE) from 2011 until 2018, becoming Director of the office in 2014. In her role as Director of OIE, Ms. Herring provided oversight and support of the University’s efforts to comply with all applicable federal and state civil rights laws, along with the University’s policies prohibiting discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.  She provided consultation to the University community regarding affirmative action as required by the Department of Labor's Office for Federal Contractor Compliance Programs. In addition, Ms. Herring's office oversaw Disability Compliance and Title IX.

In April of 2018 Ms. Herring transitioned to the role of Director of Public Affairs in the Office of Public Affairs and Communications at the University of Notre Dame.

Ms. Herring is a native of South Bend, IN and received her Bachelor of Arts in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations in 2005 from Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN. She received her Juris Doctor from Valparaiso University School of Law in 2011 where she was President of the Black Law Students Association, Vice President of the Student Bar Association and a member of the Mock Trial Team, Christian Legal Society and the Sports and Entertainment Lawyers Society.
